The daily temperature means were calculated by averaging the 96 15-minute interval readings for each day. Looking at Figure 13 below, the average daily temperature of the rural C00 site is consistently lower than the downtown urban site C08. Over the period of record, the average temperature of C08 is 13.99 º C, which is 1.99 º C warmer than rural site C00. This indicates a UHI magnitude of ~ 2 º C over an annual period. "
